Tools: V select, P pen, N node, R rectangle, O ellipse, L line.

Pen: click to drop corner points; click-drag to drop a smooth point and pull its handles. Click the first point to close the path, or press Enter / double-click to finish an open one. Esc cancels the path in progress.

Node: click a path to edit it. Drag anchors to move them (their handles follow); drag handles to reshape — hold Alt to break the two handles apart. Double-click an anchor to switch it between corner and smooth; double-click a segment to insert a point; Delete removes the selected anchor.

Select & transform: click a shape, Shift-click to add, or marquee-select. Drag to move; handles scale (Shift keeps proportion) and the top handle rotates (Shift snaps 15°). Arrows nudge, Delete removes, Esc deselects.

Fill, stroke & layers: the right panel edits the selection (or the defaults for new shapes) — solid or gradient fill/stroke, stroke width/caps/joins/dashes, opacity, z-order and layers.

View & history: Zoom Ctrl+scroll, Fit (F), pan with space-drag or the middle button. Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z undo/redo. Work autosaves to this browser.

Export: SVG writes a clean, standalone vector file; PNG rasterises the page at the scale you set; Save keeps the whole project as a .json. White bg toggles a white background versus transparent in SVG and PNG.

Load & import: Load reopens a project .json you saved; Import brings in an existing SVG file. Imported files are sanitised — scripts, event handlers and any external references are stripped, and nothing from the file is ever run.

Share: Share copies a link with your whole drawing packed into the URL — no upload, no account. Open it anywhere to load the artwork. Opening a shared link is treated as untrusted input and validated the same way as a project file.
