Guide — how it all works
Patterns & Song: in Pattern mode you build one looping bar; switch patterns (P1…) to make different sections. In Song mode you paint patterns and loops across the bar grid to arrange a full track.

Per track: M mute, S solo, then volume, filter, resonance and Pan (double-click a slider to reset). Click a step to cycle off → on → accent (louder). Shift-click a step for a ratchet (roll, ×2–×4) and Alt-click for probability (100 → 75 → 50 → 25 %) — or long-press / right-click a step for all its options (handy on a touchscreen). Both bake into export.

Mix & FX (transport): Reverb and Delay are global sends applied to the whole mix, and each track & melody also has its own Rev / Dly send knob — so you can drench the pad in reverb while the kick stays dry. Pump is a sidechain that ducks melodies & loops under the kick — Rel sets its release, in beats. All of it is baked into Export WAV. Stems (ZIP) renders each track, melody and loop to its own WAV and downloads them together as a ZIP — ready to finish in another DAW. Share link copies a link that holds your whole sequence & settings in the URL — no upload, no account; open it anywhere to load the creation (custom samples aren’t carried in the link, so those parts play the built-in synth). Undo/Redo (↶ ↷ or Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z) covers edits & mix moves. next to the pattern tabs duplicates a pattern for quick variations. Export MIDI writes the beat/melody out as a .mid. The 16/32 steps button toggles pattern length — 32 steps is two bars of sixteenths, and the whole grid, roll and export follow along. Auto arms automation recording: in Song mode, press play and move any track/melody Vol, Filt or Pan knob to record a sweep across the song. It plays back (and bakes into WAV export); the knobs move to show it. Double-click a Vol/Filt/Pan knob to wipe its automation.

Key & Scale (transport): pick a Key and Scale to highlight the in-key notes in every roll; Snap makes clicks jump to the nearest in-key note. Master EQ & Drive: Drive adds saturation/warmth, and Low/Mid/High shape the master — all baked into export.

Melody: a single-note sampler — load one recorded note (not a loop) and it plays pitched across the keys. Root = the key where the sample plays at its original pitch. Empty = a built-in synth. Len sets the length (in steps) of notes you paint — click a cell to place a held note, click it again to remove. Chord places a diatonic triad or 7th from the current Key & Scale in one click. Vel sets the loudness of new notes (brighter cells = louder), and it exports to MIDI velocity. Glide slides pitch between notes (great on Bass — 303 style). A/D/S/R reshape the synth envelope — attack, decay, sustain, release — turning one oscillator into plucks, pads or stabs. The −8 ♭ ♯ +8 and ◀ ▶ buttons transpose or nudge the whole line. Held notes sustain on the sustaining synths and carry through to WAV & MIDI export.

Loops: drop a loop into a lane; ▶ previews it in Pattern mode. In Song mode, sequence loops in the Song grid’s loop rows. Set each loop’s length in bars.

Launchpad: connect it in the panel at the bottom. Rows = tracks, columns = steps; the moving light is the playhead.

Desktop & tablet: built for desktop and works great on a tablet (landscape is best). It’s usable on a phone in a pinch — the grids scroll sideways and every action has a touch path (long-press a step for its options) — but the dense layout really wants a bigger screen. Note: on iPhone/iPad, exports open in a new tab (long-press to save) and Web MIDI is unavailable, so the Launchpad works only on desktop or Android.

Song
Switch to Song mode. Top row = patterns: click bars to place the selected pattern (P1–P4). Loop rows: click the bars where each loop should play. 128 bars (~4 min); in Song mode Export song renders the whole arrangement to WAV.

Loops
Drop a loop or phrase into a lane, press ▶ to play it. It warps to the project tempo and loops with the beat; set how many bars it spans.
